About Tambaba

Tambaba Beach was the first Brazilian beach for nudists in the north east of the country. Although Brazilian beachwear is well known for its sexyness public nudism is still regarded as a tabu. Even being topless on regular beaches is not seen too often. But the nudist community in Brazil is growing. The beach of Tambaba even hosted a nudist surf event in September 2014.

The beach is divided into two section: a general part for clothed visitors and a very scenic part including restaurants, bars and pousadas that is for nudists only. Please check the access "right" for accessing this beach: 1) Single woman may enter the beach. 2) Men are only allowed to enter the beach if accompanied by a woman. 3) A couple is entitled to bring a male friend. 4) Minors need to be in company of their parents. 5) No picture taking without prior authorization. 6) No clothes allowed.
