Bibione is a comune city located in the region of Veneto, Italy. Being a beach resort town, it is very popular with tourists, especially from Italy, Germany, Eastern Europe & Austria. There is no shortage of hotels, holiday apartments, and campsites here.

The best time to visit Bibione is in the summer (May to September) when the town becomes lively. Most of the establishments and beach facilities are open in summer.

The Bibione beach is a long stretchy beach and runs for approximately 6.45 km. It is mostly sandy with small secluded stretches in some parts. The beach is family-friendly and safe for children and toddlers. There are no waves. During the peak season, there are lifeguards and regular patrols mainly for safety.

Facilities abound here with restrooms, showers, jogging paths, seafront promenade, sunbeds, and even a secluded dog area. Yes, there is an area dedicated to dogs, their owners, and all the doggy stuff like dog beds, parasols, and bowls. Rest assured, the beach is regularly cleaned with dog-safe disinfectant. Your dog is also welcomed to swim in the water.

Apart from relaxing, you could swim, play beach volleyball, horseback ride, rent a motorized or paddleboat. You could also jog or cycle along the dedicated path, which runs parallel to the beach and through pinewood forest. Paid parking is available, and the beach is well connected to other parts of town with public transportation.

For the naturist, some parts of the beach are nudist areas.

An important law to observe here is the smoking-free zone. The local government has declared a smoking ban on the area between the first row of beach umbrellas and the shore. However, you could smoke at the umbrella renting area or under your umbrella, but nothing beyond that.

A visit to Corsica in France is not complete without visiting Ostriconi Beach, situated in the north-west region. Also known as the beach of Perajola, you will find the beach wild and breathtaking. The windswept beach is only a short drive away from the historical commune called L’Ile Rousse.

To get to the beach, you will have to hire a car or a bicycle. A small hike for about 15 to 20 minutes is needed to get to the beach itself from the car park. The car park is a big lot and is free of charge. The hike is quite enjoyable and will take you through reeds and knee-high wades.

Swimmers have to be careful with the undercurrents, and it can be dangerous when the weather is rough. In the summer months, the beach is sometimes supervised.

There are no facilities prepared to bring your water, food, and parasol (because there is no shade).

Beach Details
